Hope Patricia Elliott (nee Spencer) (June 13, 1941 - May 9, 2008) spent more than 30 years in public service and dedicated her life to helping to provide opportunities and a better life for others working through the Anglican Church, the Kiwanis Club and through education and research in media and communications. She also dedicated a large portion of her life to finding financial assistance for those who were unable to afford college tuition.
