Hope Elliot Memorial Scholarship recipients Danielle Samuda (left) and Kalicia Munn (center) pause for a photo opportunity  following an inspirational “Powerful Women Luncheon”. The luncheon which was held on Wednesday, April 4 at the Spanish Court Hotel saw women from corporate Jamaica sharing their experiences with The Queen’s School scholars.

Hope Elliott Memorial Scholars fêted to lunch with women in Corporate Jamaica


The fifth cohort of the Hope Elliott Memorial Scholarship — Kalicia Munn and Danielle Samuda — were celebrated at a luncheon with powerful women on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at the Valencia Suite of the Spanish Court Hotel.  

The Queen’s School students were introduced to women in the corporate world, who shared their life experiences and offered career advice.

The Hope Elliott Memorial Scholarship lit the flame of yet another set of The Queen’s School girls. Kalicia Munn and Danielle Samuda were awarded with the 2017-2019 Hope Elliott Memorial Scholarship on Monday, November 20, 2017 in a special devotion.

Young Career Women inspire students of The Queen’s School

The students of The Queen’s School received sound career advice from dynamic female leaders in corporate Jamaica at its annual career day held on Friday, April 28, 2017.

Facilitated by The Queen’s School guidance department, the career day programme provides third form students with the opportunity to meet professionals from various career fields and participate in interactive presentations designed to provide them with insight and guidance in time for the selection of their CSEC subjects.
